Warren Finnerty (1924-1974) was an American actor, writer, and producer. He appeared in more than 50 films and television shows during his career, including notable roles in the films Easy Rider (1969) and The Getaway (1972). Finnerty was known for his rugged, intense demeanor on screen and was often cast in roles as tough-guy characters. He also wrote and produced several independent films, including The Ceremony (1963) and Anaconda (1977). Finnerty was an avid practitioner of Zen Buddhism and was known for his unconventional lifestyle, which included living in a commune in the 1960s. He passed away in 1974 at the age of 50 due to heart failure.
